The Ocoee is a magnificent, dam-controlled river governed by TVA release schedules. Weekday water releases are highly specific and do not run every day. We closely coordinate your cabin booking alongside open river dates to ensure your raft hits the water exactly when the big waves are churning.
🌦️ Pure, Wet Appalachian Fun
Rafting is an all-weather sport—you are going to get absolutely soaked whether it rains or shines! Trips go out water-release days regardless of mountain mists. Standard river outposts enforce minimum age (typically 12+) and physical requirements to handle the big Class III/IV drops.

The outpost covers your professional PFD (life jacket) and helmet, but true river rats come prepared. Gear up correctly to maximize your fun out on the big waves.

River schedules are strict and we don't want money changin' hands til we match your dates with open water. Request your Sunday–Thursday dates first so we can check the log and secure your outpost seats.

We don't want money changin' hands til the water and the calendar match up perfectly. Once you have submitted your requested dates and a cabin keeper has verified river availability alongside the outpost outfitter logs, we will reach out directly to your crew to finalize your reservation layout and securely collect your package payment.
The Legal Stuff: Package bundles are specialty adventure event services. No refunds. Lodging rates are locked at $149/night plus standard taxes/fees, requiring a consecutive 2-night minimum reservation booked entirely between Sunday afternoon check-in and Friday morning check-out. Rafting passes are strictly subject to commercial outfitter eligibility guidelines, weight limits, and TVA water release changes.
